| With over 100 square miles of National Park, a large percentage of which is restricted to 40mph, you could spend days exploring and still not see it all. The New Forest has many Pubs and attractions, including Sammy Millers Motorcycle Museum and Beaulieu Motor Museum. | | LOCAL BIKE MEETS INCLUDE:
Compton Abbas airfield: Wednesday nights
Red Shoot pub: Sunday lunchtime
Poole Quay: Tuesday nights |

| | BEER n' BIKES - approx 60 miles.
Pick up bike, visit Sammy Millers Museum
in New Milton, pop on down to Mudeford
Quay in Christchurch, and sample some
fresh seafood. Follow the twisty B road up
to Ringwood, and then on to Fordingbridge, across through Godshill to the Royal Oak
at Fritham, followed by a run down the old runway at Stoney Cross to the Red Shoot
for a great end to the day.

| | CULTURE & HERITAGE - approx 80 miles.
From our place near Ringwood ride up
the great A road to Salisbury, home of the famous Cathedral. Then on to Stonehenge
to see the big Lego, a fast blat along the A303 (wave at the camera!) to Andover, and down
to Romsey Abbey, via Stockbridge. From
there it’s cross country back to the New Forest, closing the day with a well earned beverage at the Red Shoot.

| | SAND, SEA & SUN - approx 100 miles.
Take the scenic route down my favourite
twisty to Christchurch, follow the coast along through Bournemouth to catch the Sandbanks Chain Ferry across the entrance to Poole harbour (80p). Follow the roads to Weymouth, stopping to take in the scenery at one of
many coastal villages. Back up through Dorchester and the A35/31 to the New
Forest for your rewarding rest at a local Pub.

| | PLANE CRAZY - approx 80 miles.
Up the A338 to Fordingbridge, left through Cranborne and Sixpenny Handley, along the beautiful Cranborne Chase to Compton Abbas Airfield for lunch next to the very busy grass runway. North via Shaftesbury along the A30
to Old Sarum airfield for tea next to their grass runway, followed by a fast run down the A36
to Nomansland and across the Forest with
a stop at the Red Shoot for a quick half.
